🚀Getting started
What is MeteMate?
MeteMate is a free web app for Meteora, the liquidity protocol on Solana. It shows every new Meteora DLMM and DAMM v2 pool in real time, scores each pool for liquidity providing and safety, tracks your positions, PnL and fees, and lets you add liquidity, claim, rebalance and close positions from one simple screen.
Is MeteMate free to use?
Yes. Browsing pools, scores, charts, My Pools and Profile is free with no sign-up. If you add or remove liquidity through MeteMate, a small platform fee of 0.25% of the value you move (never more than 0.5 SOL per action) is included in the transaction, and you always see it in your wallet before you approve.
Do I need an account or email?
No. There are no accounts, emails or passwords. You can paste any wallet address to look around, or connect your own wallet when you want to trade.
Is MeteMate part of Meteora?
No. MeteMate is an independent interface. All liquidity goes straight into Meteora's own on-chain pools — MeteMate never holds your funds.
👛Connecting your wallet
Which wallets can I connect?
Any Solana wallet that supports the Wallet Standard: Jupiter Wallet, Phantom, Solflare, Backpack, OKX Wallet, Coinbase Wallet, Trust Wallet and more. Hardware wallets such as Ledger work through Phantom or Solflare.
How do I connect my wallet on a computer?
Install your wallet's browser extension and unlock it. On MeteMate, click "Connect Wallet" in the top-right corner, choose your wallet and approve the connection in the wallet pop-up. Your SOL balance and address appear in the header when you are connected.
How do I connect my wallet on my phone?
Open your wallet app (Phantom, Solflare, Jupiter or Backpack), go to its built-in browser, and visit MeteMate.com. Tap "Connect Wallet" and approve. Mobile wallets can only connect to websites opened inside their own browser.
Is it safe to connect my wallet? Can MeteMate move my funds?
Connecting only shares your public address. MeteMate can never move your funds on its own: every transaction is built in your browser, checked by a simulation, shown to you, and only happens if you approve it in your wallet. We never ask for, see or store your seed phrase or private key — anyone who asks for those is a scammer.
Why does the site ask me to sign a message?
Signing in proves you own the wallet, so your settings and trading tools are tied to you. It is a free text signature, not a transaction: it costs nothing and cannot move funds. Always read what your wallet shows before you approve.
My wallet does not appear in the list. What can I do?
Make sure the wallet extension is installed, enabled and unlocked, then refresh the page. On a phone, open the site inside your wallet app's browser. You can still paste your address in My Pools or Profile to view your positions without connecting.
How do I disconnect?
Click your address in the header and choose Disconnect. Signing out also ends your session on the server. You can also remove the site from the "connected apps" list inside your wallet.
💧Adding liquidity
What is a Meteora DLMM pool?
DLMM (Dynamic Liquidity Market Maker) pools split liquidity into small price steps called bins. You choose the price range your liquidity covers. While the price trades inside your range you earn trading fees; the narrower the range, the more fees per dollar — but the more often the price can leave it.
How do I add liquidity on MeteMate?
Open a pool (click it in the Pool feed or go to its pool page), then use the Add liquidity panel: 1) enter an amount for one or both tokens — tap 50% or MAX to use your balance, and keep Auto-Fill on to balance the second token for you; 2) pick a strategy: Spot, Curve or Bid-Ask; 3) drag the range handles under the chart or type a min and max price; 4) press Review, check the summary and approve in your wallet.
Spot, Curve or Bid-Ask — which strategy should I use?
Spot spreads liquidity evenly across your range and suits most markets. Curve puts more liquidity near the current price — the most fees when the price moves sideways. Bid-Ask puts more liquidity at the edges of your range — useful for volatile tokens or to buy dips and sell rallies (DCA-style).
How wide should my price range be?
A narrow range earns more fees while the price stays inside it but goes out of range sooner. A wide range is calmer but earns less per dollar. Many LPs start with −10% to +10% for normal pools and wider ranges (for example −30% to +30%) for new or volatile tokens. A single position can cover up to 69 bins.
What is Auto-Fill?
Auto-Fill calculates how much of the second token you need for a balanced deposit over your chosen range and strategy, using Meteora's own maths. Turn it off to deposit any amounts you like.
Can I add only one token (single-sided liquidity)?
Yes. Set your whole range above the current price to deposit only the token, or entirely below it to deposit only SOL (or the quote token). Single-sided SOL below the price is a popular way to buy a token gradually as the price falls.
Why is there a limit of 69 bins?
Meteora positions hold up to 69 bins each, so one transaction can open them. For a wider range, open more than one position.
How much SOL do I need besides my deposit?
Keep a little SOL for network and priority fees and for the position account's rent deposit, which is refunded when you close the position. If you are the first to use a new price area, Meteora may also charge a one-time fee to create its bin storage. The review screen shows the total before you sign.
🎯Managing positions
What happens when the price leaves my range?
Your position stops earning fees and is held entirely in one token until the price comes back. You can wait, or press Rebalance to move it back around the current price.
How do I claim fees, withdraw or close a position?
Open My Pools or the pool page and use the buttons on your position: Claim collects the fees, Withdraw removes part or all of your liquidity, and Close withdraws everything, claims the fees and refunds the rent. Close all and Claim all handle every position in one go.
What does Rebalance do?
Rebalance closes your out-of-range position (claiming its fees) and opens a new one of the same width centred on the current price. It takes two approvals in your wallet.
Can I use more than 69 bins?
Yes. Ranges wider than 69 bins (up to 1,400) use Meteora's extended positions: the position account is larger, so it holds more rent (about 0.0008 SOL per bin, all returned when you close). Very wide ranges are split into several positions and transactions — the review screen shows exactly how many.
Does it work with DAMM v2 pools?
Yes. On a DAMM v2 pool page you can add liquidity, add to a position, withdraw, claim fees and close. Your DAMM v2 positions also show in My Pools and on your Profile when your wallet is connected and signed in.
⚡Fees & transactions
Can I get back SOL from empty token accounts?
Yes. Every token account holds about 0.002 SOL of rent. When you connect and sign in, MeteMate checks your wallet for empty token accounts and shows how much SOL you can reclaim. Press Reclaim and approve once — the accounts are closed and the rent goes back to your wallet, minus the normal platform fee.
Is there a referral program?
Yes — the Rewards page. After your first transaction you get a referral link: you earn 15% of the platform fees paid by wallets you refer, and they pay 15% less. Request a payout in SOL or USDC from 0.1 SOL or $10.
What fees do I pay?
Solana network fees (a fraction of a cent), an optional priority fee that helps your transaction land quickly, and the MeteMate platform fee of 0.25% of the value you move (never more than 0.5 SOL per action) on trading actions. Meteora pool fees are paid by traders to liquidity providers — that is what you earn.
What are priority fee and slippage?
The priority fee is a small tip to validators to process your transaction first when the network is busy — Fast, Turbo or Ultra in Transaction settings, with a maximum you control. Slippage is how far the price may move between Review and confirmation before the deposit is cancelled to protect you.
My transaction expired or failed. What should I do?
When Solana is busy a transaction can expire before it lands. Nothing is lost — no funds move unless it confirms. Press "Try again (faster)" or raise the priority to Ultra in Transaction settings. Every transaction is simulated first, so one that would fail is stopped before you sign.
I see "network busy" or "429". What does it mean?
It means the Solana network service (RPC) or the website server got too many requests at once. Nothing is sent or lost. MeteMate waits and retries by itself; if the message stays, wait a few seconds and press Try again.
🛡Scores & safety
Is there a page for each token?
Yes. Open a pool page and press the token page button, or open a pool's details and choose Open token page. It shows price, market cap, holders, safety and holder clusters, and every Meteora pool for that token, with the best pool to add liquidity to.
What do the LP score and Safety score mean?
The LP Farming score (0–100) rates how good a pool is to provide liquidity in right now: fee yield, momentum, price-drop risk and depth. The Safety score checks the token: mint and freeze authority, holders, dev and insider selling, bundled and clustered wallets, RugCheck risks and phishing signs. Every point is explained when you open a pool.
What is the holder-cluster (bubble map) scan?
For every new pool, MeteMate scans the token's top holders like a bubble map: who funded each wallet, wallets that bought in the same block, and brand-new wallets. Wallets linked this way form a cluster. If clusters hold a big share of the supply, a few people may control the price — the Safety score drops and the pool shows a cluster warning.
Does a high score mean a pool is safe?
No score can guarantee safety. Scores are automated estimates from public data and can change in seconds. New tokens are high risk: start small and never deposit more than you can afford to lose.
📈PnL, alerts & tools
How is PnL calculated?
PnL = what your position is worth now (or what you withdrew) plus the fees you earned, minus what you deposited, using Meteora's position data. Profile shows it for today, this week, this month, year-to-date and all time.
Can I share my results?
Yes. Make a PnL card for any pool, position or period and download it as an image or animated video for X, Telegram or Discord.
Can I get alerts on my phone?
Yes. Turn on Notifications in the menu to get new-pool, volume-spike and out-of-range alerts in your phone's notification bar. On iPhone, first add the site to your Home Screen (Share → Add to Home Screen).
