This policy explains what information MeteMate (MeteMate.com, “we”) handles when you use https://metemate.com/. We built MeteMate to work with as little data as possible: there are no accounts, no passwords and we never ask for your name or email.
What we process
- Public wallet addresses. When you paste an address, connect a wallet or sign in, your public Solana address is used to load public blockchain data (pools, positions, PnL, balances). Wallet addresses and on-chain activity are public by nature.
- Sign-in session. If you sign in with your wallet, we set one cookie (
mm_session) that holds your wallet address, an expiry time and a random session ID, protected by a signature. It is HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite=Strict, lasts up to 7 days and is deleted when you sign out. - Your transaction settings. When signed in, your settings (priority fee, Jito, slippage, Ledger) are stored against a hash of your wallet address so they follow you between devices.
- Security and rate limiting. To stop abuse we keep short-lived counters keyed by a salted hash of your IP address or wallet (about one minute). Raw IP addresses are not stored by MeteMate; your hosting provider may keep standard server logs.
- Your browser. Preferences such as theme, filters, alerts, the last tab and cached data are kept in your browser’s local storage and never sent to us. You can clear them at any time in your browser settings.
What we never collect
We never see or store private keys, seed phrases or wallet passwords. Every transaction is created in your browser, shown to you, and signed inside your own wallet.
Third-party services
To show live data, your browser or our server contacts: the Meteora Data API, Jupiter (token data, prices, balances), RugCheck, GeckoTerminal, a Solana RPC provider used by this site, and — if you enable it — the Jito block engine. Wallet extensions (such as Jupiter, Phantom, Solflare or Backpack) are run by their own companies under their own policies. If this site uses Google Analytics, it runs with IP anonymisation. Charts use the TradingView Lightweight Charts library, served from this site.
Blockchain transactions
Transactions you approve are published on the Solana blockchain, which is public and permanent. We cannot change or delete on-chain data.
How long we keep data
- Sign-in session: up to 7 days, or until you sign out.
- Transaction settings: until you ask us to delete them.
- Rate-limit counters: about one minute. Data cache: up to 15 minutes.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the Australian Privacy Act), you may ask to access or delete data linked to your wallet address, or object to its use. Contact us at X, Telegram. Signing out deletes your session immediately.
Children
MeteMate is not intended for anyone under 18.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
